Give to African American Studies at Emory University

It is our hope that both alumni and friends are inspired to donate to the African American Studies Department. The Department is committed to student engagement in both the academy and the larger community. Your gifts can help the Department and its students in a number of ways, including the following:

1. Your contributions enable more of our students to take part in public engagement projects that buttress their coursework related to literacy, civil rights, education, and other areas;
2.  Your generous support helps provide access to additional resources that further students’ undergraduate research projects and honors theses;
3. As for the AAS Department, donations enhance our ability to provide greater access to world-class scholars, speakers and authors who can enrich seminars and workshops.
