Kennedy serves as the Program Coordinator for the Imagining Democracy Lab under Dr. Carol Anderson and Dr. Bernard Fraga. She graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with her bachelor’s degree in Health Services Management in 2024 and plans to pursue a dual master’s degree in Library Sciences and Public History within the next year. Kennedy has a great enthusiasm and dedication to public service, as well as the preservation of archives as they are critical conduits for connecting with history.
Before working at Emory University and while obtaining her bachelor’s degree, Kennedy spent her free time volunteering with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, the National Council of Negro Women, and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
